The Ukrainian Golf Federation (UGF) was founded on July 31, 1997. It is a voluntary, non-profit public organization with the status of National Sports Federation. In accordance with one of its strategic aims, in 2019 the UGF joined the R&A program for development of women’s golf and officially signed the “Women in Golf Charter” in Ukraine which was subsequently approved by the R&A.
